Dihydroboldenone Cypionate, also known as 1-Testosterone, is an anabolic steroid derived from boldenone (equipoise). It shares a similar structure to Primobolan (methenolone), but lacks the additional 1-methyl group found in Primobolan to enhance oral bioavailability.

Dihydroboldenone is a potent anabolic agent with moderate androgenic properties. Rat assays indicate that it is approximately twice as anabolic as testosterone propionate, while maintaining a similar level of androgenicity. This results in an anabolic-to-androgenic ratio of approximately 2. Bodybuilders value 1-Testosterone for its ability to promote significant muscle gains without excessive water retention or pronounced side effects.

Derived from dihydrotestosterone, 1-Testosterone contains an additional double bond between carbons 1 and 2 (1-ene). This modification stabilizes the 3-keto group and enhances the steroid's anabolic properties.

1-Testosterone is considered a non-estrogenic steroid, as it does not exhibit estrogen-related side effects such as gynecomastia, fat deposition, or visible water retention. Muscle gains achieved with 1-Testosterone are typically of high quality, without the excessive bulk often associated with highly aromatizable steroids. Therefore, it is favored during cutting phases when minimizing water and fat retention is a primary concern.

Due to its weak aromatization nature, 1-Testosterone is expected to have a stronger negative impact on hepatic cholesterol management compared to testosterone or nandrolone. However, its effect is weaker than most c-17 alpha-alkylated steroids.

Injectable dosages would fall within the range of 100-400 mg per week (as 1-Testosterone Cypionate). The drug is typically used in cycles lasting 6-12 weeks.
