CENFORCE-D - CENTURION LABORATORIES

CENFORCE-D is manufactured by Centurion Laboratories in India and is a combination drug containing 100mg of Sildenafil Citrate and 60mg of Dapoxetine hydrochloride, used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation in men 18 to 64 years of age. It helps men get and maintain erection and improve ejaculation time.
Sildenafil Citrate belongs to the drug class called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works in helping men get and maintain an erection by increasing blood flow to the penis following sexual stimulation.
Dapoxetine on the other hand, is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), an antidepressant that increases serotonin and norepinephrine levels. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that is responsible in sending nerve messages that results in many body functions including ejaculation. Dapoxetine is a drug used in premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is a disorder where a man ejaculates before, during or shortly after penetration with minimal sexual stimulation even before a man even desires to do so. This drug improves control over ejaculation and increase time to ejaculation by increasing serotonin activity in the nervous system, delaying ejaculation reflex.

How to use:

CENFORCE-D 160mg (Sildenafil and Dapoxetine Citrate Tablets) preparation should be taken 50-60 minutes before sexual intercourse. One tablet can increase the duration of sexual intercourse several times. Means for potency can be taken daily. The maximum concentration of active substances in the blood is achieved after about 4 hours, and the generic action calculated for at least 8-10 hours. • Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors
• CYP inhibitors
• Recreational drugs
• Guanylate cyclase stimulators
• Nitrates of any form

CENFORCE-D is also contraindicated to patients not allowed to engage in sexual activity due to cardiovascular conditions.

Side effects

The following side effects are the most commonly reported:

• Headache
• Nausea
• Dizziness
• Diarrhea

Other side effects include, but not limited to:

• Vision changes
• Fatigue
• Mental, mood changes
• Decreased libido
• Hyperhidrosis
• Nasal congestion
• Myalgia
• Insomnia
• Fainting

A physician must be notified if any of the side effects above persist or become worse.

The use of CENFORCE-D must be stopped and medical attention must be sought if the following side effects occur:

• Seizure
• Sudden decrease or loss of hearing
• Sudden vision loss in one or both eyes
• Mania/hypomania
• Bipolar disorder

Severe allergic reaction with symptoms of hives, breathing difficulty and swelling of face, throat, tongue and lips

Side effects of Cenforce D160mg are not limited to the lists above. An urgent medical attention is needed if an erection lasts for more than 4 hours or if an erection is painful. Permanent damage to the penis may happen if these side effects are ignored. Alcohol consumption must be avoided while taking CENFORCE-D for it may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, slow reflexes and impaired judgement. Combination of this drug and alcohol may also increase the risk of accidental injury due to an adverse effect such as syncope.

Warnings and Precautions

A patient must inform a healthcare professional of all current medical conditions, personal or family medical history, all current medications and previously used medications to determine the safety of the drug. Caution is advised to men with the following medical conditions:

• Mild to moderate kidney problems
• Underlying signs of depression
• Raised intraocular pressure or with risk of angle-closure glaucoma
• History of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (naion)

CENFORCE-D can interact with the following medications and cause undesirable effects:

• Drugs that affect platelet function
• Alpha blockers and other hypotensive drugs
• Some antibiotics
• Other drugs for erectile dysfunction
• Antifungal drugs

CENFORCE-D must not be used concomitantly with other drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction or drugs for prostate disorders.
